What We Do

Laws of Kirkcudbright specialises in outdoor clothing, cycle hire, walking boots and wetsuits.

The mainstay of our business continues to be cycling orientated. We can offer a selection from a large range of both off-road and touring cycles to suit all ages and tastes. We provide a comprehensive repair and maintenance service from the premises and we have a modern stock of cycles to offer for hire.

We also offer a wide range of outdoor clothing and accessories including walking boots, wet shoes, walking socks, wetsuits, fleeces and waterproof jackets.

 
History

It was c.1900 when William Laws decided to go into business in Castle street, selling bikes and motorbike as well as supplying petrol.

With the start of the war locals used Laws as a place to store their motorcycles whilst overseas. more
