Cycle Sales, Hire and Repair

The shop has been in the same family for over 100 years. We originally engineered and made our own cycle range but we now offer a selection from some of the leading manufacturers.

We have identified the cycles made by Falcon and Claud Butler to be our most popular ranges.

The Falcon Junior range has a good selection of strong and reliable bikes which your children will love. There are kids sizes to suit all ages - from 3 years to nearly adult. Choose from our selection in stock or from the wider variety available to order.

The Claud Butler range offers a fantastic selection of adult bikes - road bikes, mountain bikes, and hybrid/comfort bikes. These bikes are of the highest quality and we always have a good selection in stock for you to choose from. Again we can get you any other bike from their range to order.

Ordered bikes are normally delivered the next day by courier.

Cycle Hire

We carry a range of quality bikes for all ages and will hire you a bike for a day or half-day, for a few days or a week. Our bikes are well maintained and generally nearly-new and we can offer discounts for family hire or extended periods. Kirkcudbright is on Route 7 of the National Cycle Route and our roads and byways are very popular with cyclists. Many of our customers are holidaymakers wishing to explore our beautiful countryside at a leisurely pace.

Maintenance and Repair

We are experienced in all aspects of cycle maintenance and repair and we carry out all work on the premises. We have a good stock of spares and a well tested ordering system to obtain more unusual parts. Many small repairs can be completed in a short visit to the shop.
